Kansas City Tour of BBQ

Well, its a wrap and it was one for the history books. We had a great time, awesome food, and excellent weather (well, maybe a few sprinkles here and there...).

Hi hard-working ride planners,

My sister and I rode the tandem recumbent on the half-slab ride. We found the interesting (new territory for us) route well marked and the folks running the tasty BBQ stops very nice to visit with. Lovely job! Kudos….we will be back. (Feedback from rider)

Chef Gary Hild of the Culinary Center of Kansas City


Chef Gary is a KC cyclist and a long time member of Cycling KC. He has over four decades of experience with a passion about nutrition and healthy cooking. He has provided sport nutrition classes for the club in the past and is teaching "A Taste of the Mediterranean" at the Culinary Center of Kansas City.


Take control of your health by diviing head first into the Mediterranean diet. He will be demonstrating a Mediterranean menu, sharing expert health and wellness tips that will broaden and expand your culinary skills

Cycling Kansas City has enjoyed a long working relationship with KC Bike Law over the years. We've been very fortunate to have Laura, Lance, and Vance be on our board of directors. They have completely taken over the Ride Marshal program and have executed brilliantly over the years with local sponsored rides, tours, and races.


While streets are getting safer through revised bike lanes, unfortately, automobile drivers still resent cyclists on the roads and as such are inclined to make the roads unsafe for cyclists.

Laura will take time from her crazy schedule to provide a class on the rights of cyclists.
